Caroline- 1 day old

Caroline is doing great! She is so adorable. I cannot believe that we have another child. We are so blessed to have her in our family.

Caroline has arrived!

We happily welcome the newest member to our family!

Caroline Felicity Grace Patrick arrived on Saturday, May 13th at 9:39am.

She weighed 7 pounds 15 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long.

The whole family is doing great!

Christon's Party

We had a family gathering for Christon's birthday at Chuck E. Cheese on Sunday, May 3rd! Christon had SO much fun playing and was SO exhausted by the time we left! Christon's actual birthday is May 11th and he will be 3! He will have a celebration at school on his birthday as well!

Christon ROCKS the hearing aid (day 2)!

Well, Christon went to Jackie's today & kept his hearing aid in ALL day! She took it out at nap time and when he got up he asked for her to put it back in! Oh my gosh... we were so surprised and excited! We are proud of our boy!!

We went to the audiologist today & Christon got his hearing aid! He did well at first and then when we left decided he wanted to continue to rip it out and throw it! Yes, I think we have some work to do...

I passed my test!!

I took my principal test on March 28th & I found out today that I passed my test!
Now, all I have to do is find an assistant principal position...

Dr. Appointment today

So, everything is looking great! Caroline is growing and running out of room to move in my belly! I have gained about 30 pounds...not to shabby! I am measuring 2 cm bigger than I should be but, everyone remember that Christon was 9 1/2 pounds! Dr. Neal thinks she will be in the 8 pound range! Only 19 more days to go!

Christon Update

Well, we recently learned that Christon has very significant permanent hearing loss in both of his ears. His hearing aid is in & we will be getting him fitted for it next week! We are so excited to see how well he does when he can hear more clearly. We are going to visit a school this week especially for students with hearing loss and will more than likely have Christon attending there next year!

We appeciate all your thoughts and prayers through this time that caught us by surprise! We are so proud of Christon and are possitively awaiting the results of him receiving his hearing aid. He is so bright & we are so proud of all of his accomplishments and his perseverence throughout the time his hearing loss began.

Pregnancy Photos

A wonderful parent from my class is a photographer & she offered to do a photo session for us. We took these pictures in March over Spring Break! Our last photos as a family of 3; soon the playing field will the even when Caroline arrives!

Caroline's Nursery

After much deliberation I finally decided the room could not stay yellow & needed a more girly feel! Sean did an awesome job painting & re-painting the room! Everything is finished & I think Caroline will be thrilled with her nursery! Christon was a huge help decorating the walls with flowers & butterflies! Putting together the nursery has been a family project!

Baby Showers for Caroline

We had a wonderful time at the baby showers. My school through a "happy hour" baby shower which was very sweet. Marian, Amber, & Mom through an over-the-top girly baby shower at a place called "Girly Girl Boutique"! We got showered with gifts galore to outfit our sweet baby girl Caroline!

Countdown to Caroline

Caroline will be the newest addition to the Patrick Family making her debut appearance on May 13th! (Just 2 days after Christon turns 3!) We are very excited and have been doing a lot in preparation for her arrival! Stay tuned for more updates on Caroline and Christon our two shining stars!
